The company “ASPHALTIKI SA” has been active since 1970 in the field of Production & Trading in Ready-Mixed Concrete, Asphalt Concrete and Aggregate Quarry Materials. Initially as a General Partnership with the object of producing bituminous road paving materials and the execution of public road construction projects through joint ventures.

In the year 1976 it was transformed into a Limited Liability Company under the name “ASPHALTIKI E.P.E”, while at the same time it expanded its activity with the creation of the first unit for the production of ready-mixed concrete, just outside the city of Serres .

In 1980, due to the increase in turnover and the significant strengthening of its mechanical equipment, the company was transformed into a Public Company with the name “ASPHALTIKI S.A.” with headquarters at the 7th thousand of Serron – Oinousas provincial road

In 1982 it created the unit for the production of quarry aggregates (basic raw material for the production of its other products) in Sykia Metallon, Municipality of Emm Papa, Prefecture of Serres. Finally, 1987 expanded into the concrete sector by creating the second ready-mixed concrete production unit in Paleokastro Serres, thus meeting the demand for concrete in the northern part of the Prefecture.

In 2002 it certifies its production process according to the ELOT EN ISO 9001:2000 standard, in 2010 it updates it with the ELOT EN ISO 9001:2008 standard and in 2017 with the ELOT EN ISO 9001:2015 standard . In 2008 it certifies its quarry products which bear the CE mark and in 2013 it also certifies its asphalt products according to the harmonized standards and applying the Community Regulations.

ASPHALTIKI SA in its 50 years presence has managed to occupy a leading position in ready-mixed concrete and quarry products and has very successfully left its mark in the construction of many projects (buildings, road construction, asphalt) in the Prefecture Serron. The company’s share capital is divided into registered shares held by the families K.Sgourou, S.Hatzieliadis, P.Milousi, T.Athanasiadis, D.Kousta and I.Hatzieliadis.
